KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA ALUMNI ASSOCIATON (KOLKATA) - KENVIDS ALUMNI is a body of ex-students of Kendriya Vidyalaya, registered under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act.  

It has always been a front runner in undertaking various charitable and philanthropic activities thereby challenging for its members to pool in their resources and be able to make a purposeful and meaningful contribution towards various causes.  

Cross Currents" was our 1^st ever-musical extravaganza featuring Indian Idol 3 Contestant EMON CHATTERJEE along with Jolly Das. The evening showcased a dance troupe by the much-famed " Padatik" Group. Over2,000 students, alumni/ae, professionals, businessmen, corporate executives, industrialists, etc attended this popular event. Besides offering a captive audience of such a large number, this programme was also a platform for addressing a wide cross section of people from all walks of life. 

This event symbolizes our attempt at moving beyond all barriers of self and greed for power and money, it is the celebration of the spirit of altruism; it is the loving tribute of the alumni association to their School. 

A cheque of Rs 50000 was given to OXFORD MISSION AS PART OF CHARITY

It’s simple to be difficult, but difficult to be simple. So this is very difficult on our part to present a simple yet appealing event.

We are thankful to Honorable Member of Parliament Md. Salim and Mr. Faiyaz Ahmed Khan  Mayor In Council for their invigorating presence on 29^th dec which provided much needed impetus to the whole endeavor.
