 From The Secretary’s Desk  It was in Jan 2005 that the idea of forming an Alumni Association germinated; the idea met with enthusiastic approval and triggered a frenzy of activities over the next few months. Advertisements were given in newspapers, words were spread and one by one, responses began to trickle in. Soon there was an avalanche! It was a journey down memory lane for everyone. Soon an executive body was elected, memorandum of association were formulated. Despite its teething problems the association was making steady progress, largely due to the abounding enthusiasm of the members and the mega event of 23rd April 2005 was itself a proof of what can be achieved by Kenvids with dedication and diligence. No matter what we achieved, we should never be satisfied and should always be searching for ways to prove ourselves. There is no pride like the pride of nurturing our Alumni and seeing it grow and burst of cocoon in full glory. We will grow from strength to strength and year after year we will celebrate the meets with pomp and splendour. The calendar activities for the year 2005 promises to be exciting which no Alumni member will like to miss. Friends before I conclude I would humbly request you all to kindly donate generously towards our association in building funds. |
